Description
HP RUSTOP SERIES – Industrial Rust Preventive Oils (274 / 275 / 276 / 282 / 283)
HP Rustop series is a comprehensive range of premium industrial rust preventive oils developed to protect ferrous metal components against corrosion during inter-process handling, storage, and transportation. These oils are formulated using high-quality base oils and specialized corrosion inhibitors to deliver reliable protection under varying environmental and operating conditions.
HP Rustop 274 is a high-performance rust preventive oil widely used at the final packing stage for critical components such as ball bearings. In addition to excellent water-displacing properties, it features fingerprint neutralizing capability, ensuring superior corrosion protection even after manual handling. It offers extended protection when used undiluted and can also be diluted with mineral turpentine for cost-effective inter-process protection. It is also suitable for use as a sealant for precision components.
HP Rustop 275 is a low-viscosity rust preventive oil specially designed for small and precision bearings. Its low viscosity allows easy penetration into deep internal surfaces, making it ideal for compact and closely fitted bearing assemblies.
HP Rustop 276 is a solvent cut-back rust preventive oil intended for extreme conditions, including severely humid and salty atmospheres. It provides long-term corrosion protection and can be used as supplied or diluted, depending on application requirements.
HP Rustop 282 is an oil-based rust preventive with higher film thickness, suitable for applications requiring a stronger protective coating over metal surfaces during prolonged storage.
HP Rustop 283 is an oil-based rust preventive oil with excellent de-watering characteristics, ensuring effective moisture removal and corrosion protection after wet machining or washing processes.
The HP Rustop series can be applied by dipping, spraying, or brushing and can be removed easily using suitable petroleum-based solvents. These oils are widely used to protect machined components, bearings, gears, fabricated steel parts, automotive components, and industrial equipment, helping reduce corrosion-related losses, rejections, and maintenance costs.
