HP Parthan EP 150, 220, 320 and 460 are high, quality gear oils for extreme pressure (EP) that are used in industrial applications and are suitable for lubricating heavily loaded gear drives in enclosed spaces. These oils, which are made using quality base oils and advanced EP additives, can significantly reduce wear and tear on the gears and also prevent scuffing and micropitting of the surfaces.
HP Parthan EP oils are well, known for their outstanding ability to resist thermal degradation and oxidation. These properties help to avoid the formation of sludge and degradation of the oil even when exposed to high temperatures for a long time. The outstanding demulsibility of these oils means that the water can be removed efficiently, this feature makes the oil very suitable for applications where the presence of water or humidity cannot be avoided. HP Parthan EP oils also have a very good rust and corrosion preventive property, thus they can effectively protect metal parts from operating inside the gears and bearings to last long and reliably.
These oils find widespread application for spur, helical, bevel, and worm gear and are very suitable for use in cement plants, steel mills, sugar mills, power plants, and other heavy industrial machinery. This product series comes in four variants, viz. ISO VG 150, 220, 320, and 460, which give you the perfect viscosity choice according to different load and speed conditions thereby improving the efficiency and durability of the gearbox.

Application
These oils are recommended for all heavy duty enclosed gear drives with circulation or splash lubrication system operating under heavy or shock load conditions, plain and antifriction bearings subjected to shock and heavy loads. The grades give dependable performance for continuous service at operating temperature upto 110°C. These oils are also suitable for spray lubrication systems requiring extreme pressure properties.
Special Features
These are premium quality oils manufactured from high quality base stocks fortified with extreme pressure additives, antifoam, antirust and antioxidation agents, thereby they have excellent oxidation resistance and thermal stability. PARTHAN EP grades contain phosphorous and sulfur as extreme pressure agents. These are non-corrosive to copper and copper alloys.
