QUENCHING OILS
HP METAQUENCH 43 is an advanced additive, type quenching oil manufactured with IS: 2664, 1980 standards and commonly used for industrial heat treatment applications. This quenching oil is a special general, purpose quenching solution for ferrous components where clean surfaces, uniform cooling, and minimum distortions are the main requirements.
With the inclusion of some good dispersant additives, HP METAQUENCH 43 prevents the formation of dirt, sludge, and carbonaceous deposits on metal surfaces during rapid cooling process. This results in very low contamination of parts, and at the same time, heat is extracted very consistently which causes uniform hardness and less chances of cracking or warping.
The oil has remarkable thermal conductivity and heat transfer properties enabling it to cool hot metal parts fast thus controlled. Its good oxidation stability and low volatility feature helps to save the oil life for a long period of operation thus the need for frequent oil replacement and maintenance costs is very low.
HP METAQUENCH 43 can be used for quenching different parts such as automotive parts, engineering components, forged products and steel parts of general industrial nature. It is a good choice especially for the situations when the metal surface dirt accumulation should be minimal and the dimensional stability must be maintained.

Quenching oil with excellent dispersant properties. The oil is fortified with carefully selected dispersant to provide minimum quench distortion.
This is an additive type of quenching oil with good dispersant properties and excellent heat transfer characteristics. The special additive incorporated in this oil controls soiling of the metal parts during quenching by preventing dirt from accumulating on the metal, thus ensuring uniform hardness with minimum quench distortions. It meets the requirement of IS 2664 Additive Type quenching oil.
