At Lube Tradeways, the authorized CFA and Industrial Lubricants Distributor (ILD) for Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) in Chandigarh, we strive to ensure complete customer satisfaction with our premium HPCL lubricants, Industrial lubricants oils, automotive oils, industrial greases, and specialty fluids. This Refund and Return Policy outlines the terms for returns and refunds for purchases made through lubetradeways.com or our Chandigarh headquarters. We comply with India’s Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and other applicable laws to provide fair and transparent processes for our clients in North India, including Chandigarh, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi & Himachal Pradesh.

1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns for most HPCL products under the following conditions:

• original packaging, undamaged, with all labels, seals, and accessories intact. Opened or used items (e.g., partially consumed oils) are not eligible due to safety and contamination risks.
• Proof of Purchase: Provide your Purchase order, order number, invoice, or receipt from lubetradeways.
• Eligible Products: Industrial Lubricants Oils & Greases , Automotive oils , greases, and specialty fluids qualify, except for custom orders or bulk shipments tailored to specific requirements (e.g., fleet-specific compressor oils etc.)

2. Return Process

To initiate a return:

• Contact Us: Email hpcl@lubetradeways.com within 7 days, providing order details, reason for return, and photos if applicable.
• Approval: Our team will review and approve eligible returns within 2 business days, issuing a Return Authorization Number (RAN).
• Ship Back: Return the product to our Chandigarh address (Plot No. 106, Industrial Area, Phase 1, Chandigarh – 160002) via a tracked courier. Shipping costs are your responsibility unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong HPCL grease shipped).
• Inspection: Upon receipt, we inspect the item (typically 3-5 business days). If approved, we proceed to refund or replacement.

3. Refunds

• Refund Timeline: Once approved, refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to your original payment method (e.g., bank transfer, credit card).
• Amount: Full product cost minus any applicable restocking fees (5-10% for bulk orders) or shipping charges. Taxes and duties are refunded as per government norms.
• Partial Refunds: For incomplete returns (e.g., missing accessories), we issue partial refunds.
• Non-Refundable Items: Custom-blended specialty fluids, perishable items, or products damaged by misuse.

4. Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive defective HPCL lubricants (e.g., contaminated industrial oils) or items damaged in transit:

• Notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and details.
• We provide free replacements or full refunds, including return shipping.
• For quality issues, we coordinate with HPCL for verification.

5. Exceptions and Non-Returnable Items

We implement robust measures to protect your data:

• Non-Eligible: Opened/used products, hazardous materials (as per transport regulations), or items past the 7-day window.
• Bulk Orders: Fleet or industrial bulk purchases (e.g., over 200 liters of HPCL compressor oils) may have custom terms—check your invoice.
• Force Majeure: Delays due to events beyond control (e.g., natural disasters in Himachal) do not qualify for refunds.
• International Orders: Limited to North India; international returns are case-by-case.
